Job description

SPCSHP is looking for a Senior Content Producer based in Seattle who will collaborate with our internal teams to shape and drive the workflow across social projects for one of our main clients. Someone who is both a creative and strategic thinker, a person who the team can rely on for everything they need to know about all project aspects - a natural leader and problem-solver.
The ideal candidate will own the campaign deliverables and content development (with a focus on vertical video) whilst being hands-on, have strong team management abilities, and be 100% committed to delivering fantastic creative ideas and work that meet both client and SPCSHP expectations. If you are innately proactive, a champion of excellence, and a nurturer of all that is good, come meet our SPCSHP crew.

Roles + Responsibilities:

  • You will be immersed in the day-to-day with a bespoke Agency team crafted to support and execute social campaigns across existing and new social media platforms
  • The role will involve high-volume content execution working directly with the Client and SPCSHP teams to elevate the social media experience of our Client while also increasing followers across multiple high-visibility branded accounts
  • Work closely with social content strategist and creatives to bring ideas to life from conception through delivery
  • Develop and manage timelines outlining all milestones for concept development and production
  • Partner with the SPCSHP Business Affairs team to vet concepts for Legal watch outs before production
  • Create, manage, and track all production expenses related to each deliverable
  • Source and contract third-party vendors and/or content creators for the execution of approved ideas in partnership with the SPCSHP Business Affairs team
  • Manage third-party vendors and/or content creators throughout the production phase, including aiding third-party vendors and/or creators in procuring any unique needs like securing location permits, wardrobe, props, insurance, equipment needs, and support crew as needed
  • Develop and manage shoot schedules / run of shows for each deliverable
  • Manage post-production activities with internal and external resources such as editing, music search, and licensing, etc.
  • QC and ensure the quality and delivery of final files are without error
  • Balance multiple projects with short and competing deadlines and manage multiple tasks while maintaining quality
  • Ownership and distribution of a hot sheet outlining clear action items for the team
  • Manage team resourcing and report on weekly burn for scoped resources
  • Establish and enforce processes with the team to ensure the organization is impeccable
  • Establish cadence and agendas for status calls for internal and external stakeholders as well as the team you manage
  • Serve as a liaison between the social team and marketing stakeholders to ensure cohesive strategies and integrated campaigns
  • Report to the Group Production Director and liaise with day-to-day Client contacts who will assign and manage priority edits

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in a creative agency or similar environment (a social agency is a plus) working with production vendors and content creators
  • Must be willing to be at clients office up to 3x a week based in Seattle
  • Experience conducting shoots of varying types and sizes, including small scale in-person shoots to remote shoots
  • Beginner-level video editing skills for social platforms are preferred, but not required
  • Robust social production vendor contacts and freelance network
  • Detailed financial management that monitors the ebb and flow of day-to-day project management while simultaneously understanding the overall importance and impact on the business
  • Strong prioritization skills to manage multiple workstreams and competing deliverables within a workstream
  • Solid negotiation experience and skills, especially with third-party contracts
  • Excellent internal and Client communication and presentation skills
  • Natural ability to motivate and lead teams in a fast-paced environment exuding confidence, while being calm, motivating, and a pleasure to work with
  • Passion for educating other Crew members about content and social production and dedication to training / mentoring fellow associate producers and producers
