The Role
Our Manufacturing, Logistics, Energy & Utilities (MLEU) Consulting practice is looking for a Senior Consultant - Product Owner to join our ML growing practice. Cognizant's MLEU Consulting is a team of advisory consultants & product managers working for global Industrial clients to create significant business value. The team leverages their technology savviness, functional expertise to lead and execute digital transformation initiatives.
Product Owner Turns business needs into product features with actionable outcomes. Works in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks.

Responsibilities
• Works with clients to understand and document business processes and software requirements
• Leads client interactions such as meetings, workshops and design presentations/reviews
• Captures and communicates business processes, software processes and functional software designs
• Assists technical staff and project leadership with communicating technical designs, project plans and software roadmaps
• Facilitates requirement gathering workshops
• Performs Demos to project stakeholders
• Participates in Scrum Ceremonies like Product Backlog Grooming, Sprint Retrospective, Sprint Planning etc.,
• Plans and prioritizes the user stories with Business Stakeholders
• Contributes to Deliver the MVP and Product Increments
• End to end requirement management of products starting from vision to deliverable stories
• Works with businesses to establish clear connections between business goals, strategies, and functionality development and implementation to achieve them.
• Maps business processes to identify improvement/transformation opportunities
• Understands the scope and define business requirements along with client business stakeholders and refine the product backlog items based on business priorities
• Prepares functional use cases / detailed user stories
• Validates UX / UI for every feature / function
• Conducts stories / functionality demo to product management teams (internal/external)
• Reviews test plans prepared by QA Team
• Supports UAT
• Assists in resolving scope, requirements, and other technical related queries
• Manages change requests / enhancements / features
Qualifications
• Bachelor's or master's degree in related field
• Advanced problem resolution skills and communication abilities
• Min 5+ years of experience in core PO roles with ability to lead a team of business analysts
• Experience in Tools like JIRA, VSTS or Rally etc.,
• Agile / Scrum experience
• Demonstrable track record of business analysis and requirements analysis for projects with multiple stakeholders and high organizational or process complexity
• Experience working in Customer Experience related engagements
• Prior experience working in Salesforce
