What You'll Be Doing:
- Working primarily in the field, serves as primary investigator on fatality and other complex enforcement inspections. Administrative duties are primarily done at home office.
- Independently performing complex and comprehensive industrial hygiene and occupational safety inspections and investigations;
- Providing Ohio public employers and employees with occupational health and safety compliance assistance;
- Identifying existing or potential Safety and Health hazards and/or facilitates compliance with adopted Ohio Employment Risk Reduction Standards; in Ohio Revised Code & Ohio Administrative Code chapter 4167

Qualifications
To Qualify, You Must Clearly Demonstrate:
- 12 mos. exp. as Industrial Safety Hygienist 3, 24473; valid driver's license.
- Or completion of undergraduate core program in environmental health, physical/natural science or engineering; 12 mos. exp. in private sector or other governmental agency performing same or comparable duties of Industrial Safety Hygienist 3, 24473; valid driver's license.
- Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
- 12 months experience citing, interpreting, & applying Federal OSHA regulations & standard
- 12 months experience conducting air, noise, & chemical monitoring & sampling using related industrial hygiene equipment (e.g., dosimeters, sound-level meter, air sampling pumps, velometer, electrical circuit test equipment, direct reading air monitoring devices, & other equipment)
