As a Senior Color and Materials Designer, you will be an integral part of the Innovation and Design Team, helping shape the future of commercial truck and bus industries. As a global company under TRATON Group, our Design Team is actively involved in the development of emerging technologies, electrification, autonomous driving, and environmentally conscious products.

- Create viable CMF Design solutions as a part of a CMF Design Team
- Manage assigned projects and deliverables, and be able to work on multiple concurrent projects
- Research, translate and forecast various industry trends with focus on CMF, Sustainability and Customer Experience.
- Ideate, visualize, and develop design proposals for colors, materials, and finishes with the highest level of craftsmanship for International Truck and IC Bus brands.
- Develop digital and physical CMF presentations to convey Design Strategy and alignment with Corporate vision and initiatives.
- Develop and implement sustainable materials, processes, and strategies.
- Present CMF Strategies to Senior Leadership, Internal and External customers.
- Review and approve color, materials, and finishes for all vehicle exterior and interior surfaces utilizing cutting edge technology/equipment.
- Collaborate and strategize with cross functional teams, including Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Quality, ensuring viable solutions are delivered on-time.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to manage design and color intent through material development and mastering.
- Contribute to Design Quality and Craftsmanship initiatives.
- BFA in CMF/Industrial/Transportation or Related Design disciplines
- 5-year minimum of relevant professional experience
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- High color acuity and ability to communicate color direction
- Knowledge of current and emerging CMF Design Processes and Materials
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative and Microsoft Suite
- Proficiency in VRED, visualizing realistic environments and finishes
- Transportation CMF Design Experience
- Experience in Sustainable Material Design
- CAD Software knowledge (NX, Alias, or equivalent)
- Brand Identity development experience
