Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in a Human Services field such as counseling, psychology, or social work, and at least three years of relevant professional therapy experience in a mental health treatment setting with youth and families; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Applicants with specialized training in evidence-based treatment models such as Motivational Interviewing, EMDR or Trauma-Focused CBT are strongly encouraged to apply. Professional licensure in Virginia (such as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc.) is required. Successful applicants will be well-versed in the systems of care approach for children and adolescents, cognitive-behavioral treatment interventions, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, family therapy interventions, and partnering with community resources. Successful applicants will be well-versed in. Verbal and written fluency in both Spanish and English is preferred. Pre-employment drug testing, FBI criminal background check and education/degree verification required.

The Child & Adolescent Services Team (CAST) is seeking a full-time licensed therapist to join our outpatient team. CAST is a fun-loving and energetic team that highly values continuing professional growth, self-care, and a supportive work environment.
CAST is a group of professionals that work as a part of a team with expertise and training in utilizing Motivational Interviewing, TF-CBT, DBT, and EMDR. CAST clinicians have extensive experience treating children and adolescents. Functions include clinical assessment/diagnosis, treatment planning, documentation in EHR, case management, individual, family, and group therapy. The position is 40 hours per week and includes a mix of individual/family therapy and mental health case management services for children and adolescents with mental health and/or substance use issues. Perform other work as required.
