Description

This is an exciting position to turn data into actionable insights to support business decisions and tactical growth plans.
Foundational elements of this role include Gathering and documenting user requirements, supporting the development of PowerBI/Tableau dashboards, scorecards and analytical tools, assisting stakeholders with various target setting exercises, KPI monitoring and linking fragmented data together to tell a story.

Job Duties
•    Identifies requirements and streamlining or automation opportunities for dashboards/analytics tools and defines technical specifications
•    Supports GCI business partners by fulfilling data requests, preparing reports, and providing data assistance
•    Serves as dashboard “super user” and global trainer for business partners
•    Provides premium expertise around technology data and supports KPI development and target setting; may coordinate alignment and decision-making process with key stakeholders
•    Updates dashboards; serving in a “back up” capacity; or primary, as needed
•    Assists in the development, testing, and delivery of analytical tools
•    Suggests conclusions and makes recommendations with results drawn from business data analysis.
•    Prepares ad hoc data requests and works to automate charts, scorecards and dashboards. 
•    Skilled at understanding various technology data metrics and communicating them to all levels of the organization
•    Prepares technical documentation and shares with senior analysts and technical teams. 
•    Maintains dashboard manual and updates help documentation for internal and external stakeholders 
 

Business Data Analysis: 
•    Ability to develop deep expertise of complex metrics, KPIs and leading indicators
•    Processes large quantities of detailed information with high levels of accuracy.
•    Implements a variety of cross-checking approaches and mechanisms.
•    Sets standards for business data analysis tools and techniques, advises on their application, and ensures compliance.
•    Evaluates the quality of business data collected and the effectiveness of data analysis methods.
•    Oversees the use of business data analysis software and troubleshoots for errors.

Basic Qualifications

4-year college or university degree with a technical focus

3-5 years of job-related work experience

•    Ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
•    Knowledge of business data analysis and tools with emphasis on Excel and PowerBI/Tableau ("super user" status). 
•    Ability to collect, identify, analyze, and interpret business data using various kinds of techniques to meet business needs and requirements.
•    Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
•    Productively balances speed and accuracy.

The location for this position is Mossville, IL.

Domestic relocation assistance is available for this position.

This position will require less than 10% travel
