Senior Business Analyst

UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with at least 10-years of experience for an immediate remote role.

The position will be 100% remote and candidates should reside in the EST time zone.

Position: Selected candidate will use extensive BA experience to gather and document functional and non-functional requirements supporting IT and business teams in a major system replacement project.

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• 10+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst with at least two years in a government project.
• Must have experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.
• Must have experience creating project use cases, user stories, activity and sequence diagrams.
• Experience using UML modeling language to create project Diagrams
• Must have experience in data driven migration projects and complex workflow development projects.
• Experience managing work from cross-functional teams of widely varying skills and levels.
• Must have experience in Waterfall and Agile Software Development projects
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, Visio & PowerPoint.
• Strong proficiency using JIRA to track and manage project deliverables
• Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously and managing BA work for projects with multiple work streams.

Scope of Services:

• Gather and define business requirements through user interviews, meetings with stakeholders and technical staff members.
• Create and manage Business Requirements Document (BRD) and Functional Requirements Document (FRD).
• Transform functional requirements into technical specifications used by developers to create application code.
• Create UML diagrams, project use cases and all other Business Analysis Artifacts.
• Define User Acceptance Testing criteria in collaboration with Development and QA Teams.
