Form of workOBXtek is supporting the US Space Force, Space Systems Command Contract. This opening is for anSenior Budget Analyst, who will provide the Military Communication and Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (MilComm & PNT) Directorate (SSC/CG) with a broad range of financial management capabilities to execute effective and responsive integrated program management of space-related research, development, production, and lifecycle acquisition activities.
The tasks for this position include:
Providefor reviewing and analyzing Program Contractor’s Over Target Baseline, Over Target Schedule, and any other major Performance Management Baseline modifications/deviations by conducting analyses to include, but not limited to baseline reviews, benefit analysis, evaluating proposed Program Contractor Basis of Estimates, root cause analysis, and developing independent estimates.
Coordinate with the Government in working Shoulder-to-Shoulder with the Program Contractor to establish a realistic and executable performance baseline for the remaining scope on contract.
Document the analysis results and be prepared to explain findings and make recommendations. (CDRL A003)
Required Qualications
- Active Secret clearance
- Masters degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Mathematics desired; OR Bachelor degree in a related field, such as Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, Statistics required.
- 12-18 years of experience may substitute for a Bachelor degree
- 10 - 15 years of experience performing financial management activities in the government (military and/or civil servant), Federally Funded Research and Development Center, or profit/non-profit government support/development contractor arena, of which 8-12 years shall include duties/assignments specifically in support of space programs
- AFSPC or SMC experience a plus
- 3 -10 yrs with CCAR and GAFS, 3 yrs FM Suite and WAWF, 3-5 yrs with MS Office
Desired Qualifications
- CCEA, PCEA, CCP, PMP, EVP, FM, CDFM or other professional certification
