Senior Bookkeeper

The Senior Bookkeeper is responsible for managing the activities of the overall accounting function of the company and will oversee, implement, and maintain accounting systems, procedures, and policies. The Senior Bookkeeper will perform all basic accounting procedures, financial statement preparation, and month end closing which includes account reconciliation and revenue recognition.

Skills:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or related field strongly preferred
• 10 years experience in bookkeeping including payroll experience
• 5 years experience in construction preferred
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Proficient in Quickbooks; Quickbooks certification strongly preferred
• Proficient in spreadsheet software (Excel, Sheets)
• Thorough knowledge of general accounting principles
• Strong leadership and proven supervisory skills
• Ability to analyze information and work with projections

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
