Job Description:
Join My BackYard Sports as a Bookkeeper and play a pivotal role in our team's success. This position combines bookkeeping expertise with office management responsibilities in a dynamic construction environment. You'll oversee financial transactions, manage office operations, and ensure smooth administrative functions.
Responsibilities:
- Procurement: Manage and oversee the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.
- Inventory Tracking: Implement and maintain systems for tracking inventory levels, managing stock, and optimizing resource allocation.
- Expense Tracking: Accurately record and track all expenses, maintaining organized records for financial transparency.
- Vendor Interaction: Communicate with vendors to negotiate terms, resolve issues, and ensure smooth transactions.
- Revenue Reconciliation: Perform detailed reconciliation of revenue accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- QuickBooks Expertise: Utilize QuickBooks skills to manage financial transactions, generate reports, and provide insights into financial performance.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with BuilderTrend, Jobtread, or similar programs for effective project management and financial tracking.
- Controller Support: Collaborate with the Controller, providing support and assistance as needed.
- Remote Efficiency: Demonstrate the ability to work effectively and independently in a remote work environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping and office management experience.
- Construction Background: Preferred but not mandatory.
- QB Pro Advisor: Nice to have but not required.
- EOS, 6 Sigma Familiarity: Beneficial but not mandatory.
- Attention to Detail: Great attention to detail in managing financial records and transactions.
- Soft Skills: Excellent organizational and administrative skills, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- PC Skills: Proficient in PC applications and software.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Controller Experience: A significant plus.
- Certifications: Certifications in relevant areas are advantageous.
