Senior Bookkeeper

LK Jordan is now hiring a full-time, experienced Senior. Bookkeeper. This is a temp-to-hire position for our client that is a leader in the economic, financial, and public policy consulting, for use in litigation and in regulatory proceedings.

Duties:
•    maintain the client’s accounting records.
•    prepare accurate journal entries for the company.
•    produce monthly financial statements by the 20th of each month.
•    assist current staff with billing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
•    work with the client’s outside accounting firm on year-end financial statements and tax filings
•    help the firm improve the efficiency of their accounting processes and software.
Qualifications:
•    3-5 years’ experience in full charge bookkeeping, preferably with a professional services firm.
•    Experience with QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks payroll, and QuickBooks timekeeping software.
•    Highly proficient Excel skills. An assessment will be required.
•    Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
•    Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting a plus.
