Job Description
U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Senior Automation Lead. Telecommuting available from anywhere in US. HQ at 800 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN 55402.
Essential Responsibilities:
The Senior Automation Lead is responsible for working with cross-functional agile team members to understand business and architecture of the system to ensure automation at every interface leading the effort to develop and architect test automation frameworks; maintaining automation frameworks and developing automated test for software products in an Agile lifecycle. This role accommodates develop functional and nonfunctional test automation requirements for functional UI and system integration testing for Salesforce, Data Engineering and other Platforms. Specific duties include: (1) advance existing and implement new automation frameworks to assist end to end, integration, load, security and mobile testing; (2) translate requirements and acceptance criteria into tests and test scripts, build and enact detailed test plans and test cases; (3) design, write and execute automated tests for complex application systems; (4) build CI/CD pipeline, and perform performance testing, regression testing and production releases; (5) design ,develop and orchestrate behavior driven development automation Framework from scratch for Salesforce UI using Web DriverIO, JAVA Script and Node.js.; (6) perform Functional and Regression testing extensively for test scenarios automated with QTP/UFT, Selenium with Java/TestNG, TestLeft and Ranorex Web and Client server-based applications; (7) design and develop API test automation framework using ReadyApi tool and groovy for Data Engineering platform projects; (8) develop and perform automate performance load tests using ReadyApi; (9) ability to Virtualize critical APIs and microservices using ReadyApi service virtualization; (10) automating test script execution on day-to-day basis as well as logging and tracking the bugs found during test execution phase using JIRA and HP ALM defect management tool; (11) design and develop test automation for API’s using Ready API tool/groovy scripting and working with backend testing using ORACLE/SQL databases to write queries to extract and validate the data in testing environment; (12) work with Test Automation using Selenium Web driver with Java, TestNG framework and QTP/UFT; (13) develop and implement Automation Test plans, Test Strategy, Test cases, Test data and Test scripts for system integration, regression and UAT testing; (14) perform root cause analysis of bug reports from internal/external stakeholders to ensure that problems are resolved in a timely and efficient manner; and (15) support overall QA testing, automation efforts and responsible for QA signoff in different phases of project release. This position will supervise two subordinates, a QA automation tester and a Software Tester.
Basic Qualifications:
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science and 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience validating the data in testing environment.
Required Skills/Experience:
Must also have 24 months of experience with each of the following: (1) developing and implementing Automation Test plans, Test Strategy, Test cases, Test data and Test scripts for system integration, regression and UAT testing; (2) performing Functional and Regression testing extensively for test scenarios automated with QTP/UFT, Selenium with Java/TestNG, TestLeft and Ranorex Web and Client server-based applications; (3) Working with Test Automation using Selenium Web driver with Java, TestNG framework and QTP/UFT; (4) automating test script execution on day-to-day basis as well as logging and tracking the bugs found during test execution phase using JIRA and HP ALM defect management tool; and (5) designing and developing test automation for API’s using Ready API tool/groovy scripting and working with backend testing using ORACLE/SQL databases to write queries to extract and validate the data in testing environment. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $135,200 - 150,500
