Willamette Management Associates (A Citizens Company) is seeking talented candidates interested in a growth opportunity as a business valuation Vice President. We seek an experienced Vice President with an interest in the disciplines of business valuation and forensics accounting. This practice focuses on business valuation and forensic accounting in connection with business and divorce litigation. Analytics also include forensic analysis, compensation analysis, business interruption and shareholder disputes.
We are currently recruiting for the Vice President level role in our Boston office.
Responsibilities:
- Work with senior analysts, prepare and review quantitative valuation and other analytics
- Prepare written expert reports, deliver oral presentations, and develop new client engagements.
- Perform financial advisory services primarily for transaction, taxation, and litigation purposes.
- Work to cultivate client relationships to develop, maintain and generate revenue.
- Demonstrate thought leadership through professional publication and professional organization activities.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in preparing business valuations and expert witness reports
- Demonstrated thought leadership and experience in accounting and management due diligence
- Demonstrated ability to work collectively within teams
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- One or more of the following credentials is preferred: certified public accountant (CPA), accredited in business valuation (ABV), chartered financial analyst (CFA) designation, certified business appraiser (CBA), certified valuation analyst (CVA), or accredited senior appraiser (ASA)
Education
- Bachelors Degree in finance, accounting, or business administration is required
- Masters Degree or MBA preferred
