Senior Art Director

We are seeking a talented and creative Senior Art Director to join a dynamic marketing agency based in Phoenix, AZ. As a Senior Art Director, you will work closely with our team of designers, copywriters, and creative directors to develop compelling visual concepts and designs for various marketing campaigns. Your role will be essential in ensuring that our clients' brands and messages are effectively communicated through captivating visual assets.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the creative team to develop and execute innovative visual concepts and designs for marketing campaigns across multiple platforms, including Tv, Video, print, digital, social media, and outdoor advertising.
2. Assist in the development and refinement of brand identities, ensuring consistency across all visual elements.
3. Create visually engaging and aesthetically pleasing designs for websites, landing pages, email campaigns, and other digital marketing assets.
4. Develop concepts and storyboards for video and TV advertisements, and collaborate with videographers and editors to bring them to life.
5. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in design, advertising, and marketing, and incorporate them into your work to ensure fresh and relevant creative output.
6. Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide creative input to enhance marketing strategies and campaigns.
7. Work closely with copywriters to ensure that visuals and copy align effectively and convey the desired message.
8. Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives and requirements, and translate them into impactful visual solutions.
9. Assist in managing and organizing digital assets, including photos, videos, and design files, to ensure easy accessibility and efficient workflow.
10. Ensure all projects are delivered on time and meet the highest quality standards, while adhering to clients' brand guidelines and our agency's creative vision.

Requirements:

1. EXPERIENCE: 4-5 years of related Art Direction experience in an agency setting.

   1. A digital portfolio of your work required Past production experience on set shooting videos for social, online video and/or TV preferred

2. DESIGN SKILLS: Expert at Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Strong visual knowledge of composition, color theory, and typography.
3. TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of emerging design technologies and trends, including web and mobile design, UI/UX design, and digital marketing.
4. LEADERSHIP SKILLS: The ability to lead and inspire creative teams, providing direction, feedback, and mentorship to junior designers. We want to see how you take pride in your own work but also in the team working for you.
5. PROBLEM SOLVING: Change happens no matter how well planned we are. You must be battle tested and able to address design challenges and make creative decisions that align with project goals.
6. PRESENTATION SKILLS: This is showbusiness and you must be able to sell your ideas, internally to your ACD and CCO, and also to our clients. So, in addition to amazing Google Slides design skills you must also be able to shine on zoom or in an in-person presentation!
7. EDUCATION: A minimum of an associates (2-year) degree in advertising/communication design, or visual arts. A bachelor (4-year) degree is preferred. Bonus Points:
8. Knowledge of editing and animating in Adobe Premiere and After Effects is a huge plus.

Salary range: $100k-150k
