About the job:

Based in The Hague, The Netherlands, you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO's Digital Endeavour. You will join the Chief Technology Office (CTO) that is a key enabler of NATO's digital transformation. This office is a cornerstone for the NCI Agency's work to advance NATO's information communications technologies (ICT), which are critical to maintain NATO's technological edge. With Agency scientists, architects and engineers, the CTO is the Agency's hub for architecting and designing NATO's ICT technical landscape while considering innovation, standardization, and coherence across the Alliance.

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Senior Architect (Enterprise) Coherency Management who will take on the following roles and responsibilities:

       Provide strategic oversight for the development and implementation of Technology Roadmaps, aligning with NATO's strategic objectives. Ensure projects across the portfolio maintain technical coherence with NATO standards, frameworks, and architectural guidance. Provide strategic oversight for the development and implementation of Technology Roadmaps, ensuring alignment with NATO's strategic objectives. Create and maintain a comprehensive technology landscape baseline, highlighting how projects, as factors of change, align or impact this baseline. Ensure all projects across the portfolio maintain technical coherence with NATO standards, frameworks, and architectural guidance, contributing to a unified technological vision.

       Analyse architectural data and contribute to the creation of dashboards that offer insights into technology strategy adherence, roadmap alignment, and obsolescence management. Utilize data to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments

       Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration, adopt a consulting approach, ensuring integration of Coherency Management processes across CTO and NATO business areas. Act as a liaison to promote understanding and adherence to NATO's technical standards.

       Monitor and evaluate the adoption of NATO policies, standards, and technical guidance within projects and services. Support the continuous improvement of enterprise architecture and coherency practices.

About you:

The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are:

       Bachelor's degree at a nationally recognized/certified University, minimum 3 years post-related experience.

       Demonstrated management experience leading projects requiring an end-to-end interoperability perspective, dependencies.

       Experience and ability to moderate architecture related discussions with multi-disciplinary teams.

       Ability to use advanced analytics features to perform impact assessments, trend analysis, and scenario modelling.

       Analytical, problem solving skills and ability to zoom-in and zoom-out as required.

       Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
