Style Crest, Inc. has manufactured and distributed quality building products designed for residential site built and manufactured homes for over 50 years! We have an excellent career opportunity available for a Applications Engineer.
As the Applications Engineer you would be responsible for providing software development, configuration, support and application administration to the Style Crest organization. Would be responsible for all applications software including Style Crest written code for the ERP system and related software. This position is critical in determining the functionality of the software to support the needed business processes and reporting requirements.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Conducts business and functional requirements gathering with customer resources in order to define solution requirements
- Defines and documents solution requirements
- Develops solution designs including solution prototypes that demonstrates a subset of the overall design
- Plans out applications software configuration, connectivity, version control approach and best practices
- Builds, configures and, deploys the solution
- Designs, plans and, performs upgrades through the major versions of ERP, BI, CRM and SharePoint
- Provides quality assurance oversight and management of consultants/developers on projects
- Manages project issues and scope to ensure successful delivery
- Leads and develops technical standards and best practices for the ERP, Data Warehousing, CRM and SharePoint
- Leads and conducts unit testing of applications solutions
- Participates in system and integration test; identifies and remedies solution defects
- Creates other technical deliverable artifacts needed for project implementation
Qualifications
- Must have excellent business process analyst skills
- Must have excellent SQL / PL SQL / TSQL abilities.
- Experience with IFS, CRM, Epicor experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Novacura experience a plus
- Ability to quickly adapt to new requirements and changing situations.
- Technical experience with the following: Microsoft SQL server, including SSRS and SSIS, Views, Stored Procedures
- Must have demonstrated knowledge of RDBMS technology (MS SQL Server, Oracle)
