We’re looking for a senior API developer to join our ranks. As a Senior API developer, you will be responsible for data integration and data collection, as well as establishing data and API integration architecture standards. You will also integrate lake house architecture to support our Commonwealth business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing, supporting, and integrating SaaS applications such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, etc.
- Ingest, move, transform, and integrate data to help generate insights and meet advanced analytics across Commonwealth business groups
- Extensive experience with API integration using MuleSoft
- Building Azure based applications and development frameworks
- Interface with business-aligned IT teams to design, build, and launch efficient and reliable API & data pipelines
- Meeting with application teams to understand requirements and recommend high-level direction and approach to upcoming projects
- Ensuring the availability, performance, scalability, and security of production environments
- System troubleshooting and problem solving
Core Strengths and Skills
- 7+ years’ experience with data, ETL, and real-time integration with APIs using various integration tools
- Strong experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration tools
- Knowledge of integrating with Salesforce using APIs and ETL
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases, noSQL and graph databases
- Knowledge of BI Tools like PowerBI, Tableau, etc.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical clients
