Description
The Sr. Analyst, Investor Relations will report directly to the Vice President of Investor Relations and will support the execution of Pactiv Evergreen's Investor Relations plan to ensure consistent, accurate information is provided on a timely basis to investors and analysts, and that the Company's leadership team is informed and educated on these key stakeholders' perspectives. The Sr. Analyst will interact regularly with senior management (CEO, CFO, Executive Leadership Team), legal counsel, FP&A, Treasury, Accounting and the Corporate Communications teams to articulate the Company's strategic direction and financial position.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor competitor and market sector information, lead analyses on competitive industry information and competitor strategy, including competitor conference calls, related analyst reports and SEC filings
- Assess analyst models/reports for errors, and review analyst consensus (e.g., Bloomberg/FactSet) to ensure accurate reflection of analysts' research/models
- Maintain investor and meeting databases and related reporting
- Support the quarterly earnings process including overall development of messaging, press releases, scripts, and Q&A prep
- Read equity research reports, event transcripts, and follow industry developments to inform senior leaders of relevant market and industry news
- Develop impactful, compelling presentation materials that communicate competitive positioning, strategy, and financial information
- Prepare management and provide logistical support for investor meetings; including conferences, roadshows, office visits, and Investor Days
- Prepare periodic feedback reports about Pactiv Evergreen's stock price, analysts' estimates, and ownership changes
- Maintain Investor Relations calendar to ensure announcement timing is in synch with investor communications
- Support the development of an annual schedule of conferences and non-deal road shows (NDR's)
- Assist with investor targeting process; utilize market data to identify potential new investors in Pactiv Evergreen
- Coordinate content updates to the IR website with the vendor/host
- Work with the Investor Relations team to identify areas that are misunderstood by analysts and recommends improvements or changes in company disclosures, accordingly
- Contribute to the development of strategic communications with the investment community
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/4-year Degree
- 3 or more years of experience in financial analytics experience, including Investor Relations, public equity analysis, private equity investing, and/or investment banking
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to produce clear and concise presentations and financial graphics
- Experience with financial modeling, accounting, or other FP&A analysis
- Independent and highly-motivated with strong interpersonal skills
- Work hours may vary in length and schedule (may include a non-standard work week)
- Periodic travel may be required for conferences and other investor events
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
