Position description
As a Senior Analyst in Financial Planning and Analysis, you’ll be responsible for supporting the VP of Finance in designing and implementing the organization's strategic and financial plans via the financial budgeting and planning processes. You will also provide ongoing analytical support to current company initiatives.
Position Responsibilities
- Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, accruals, and long-range plans, identifying and quantifying risks and opportunities
- Under management oversight, oversee the production of quarterly presentation schedules and packages for senior and executive management
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Legal, Operations) to prioritize tasks and resolve customer-facing issues promptly, delivering exceptional customer service at all times
- Maintain and update Revenue and COGS profitability database
- Support month- and year-end close and commentary, annual audit, and certain federal, state, and municipal tax filings
- Provide ad-hoc analytical support to assist management with company-wide initiatives and strategies
- Cross-train with other finance team members
Experience & Skills
- Requires BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Strong Excel skills; familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server, QuickBooks Online, Salesforce, and Bill.com is a plus
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Able to apply excellent business acumen and collaborative skills in problem-solving
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
