Basic Function
As part of the Capital Markets team, the Senior Analyst/Associate is responsible for supporting the successful and timely execution of financings for the company. The role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of transactions, including tax equity, project finance debt, bonds, and corporate debt. As part of collaborative deal teams, the Senior Analyst/Associate will focus on work streams such as modeling and analysis, capital provider due diligence, and deal documentation. This role has the scope to take on more responsibility over time, with the vision that the person ultimately leads financings. We are seeking an Senior Analyst/Associate who is proactive and who identifies and addresses opportunities and challenges. The successful candidate will collaborate closely across the company, help to improve company processes, and contribute to our positive culture.
Responsibilities
- Support capital formation as part of deal teams, including financial modeling and analytic tasks, leading and supporting processes around due diligence, and supporting negotiation of transaction documentation.
- Overcome issues and help drive execution to achieve financial close.
- Build and maintain deep relationships across the company and externally.
- Collaborate with Fund Management to support fundings.
- Collaborate closely with functional teams across the company, including M&A, FP&A, project development, procurement, construction, and operations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of company processes.

Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- 2-5 years of experience working at a leading sponsor, investor/lender, or advisor in power/infrastructure/real estate. Utility-scale renewable energy experience preferred.
- Transaction experience required; tax equity or project finance debt experience preferred.
- Expert in MS Excel. VBA knowledge a plus.
- Ownership mentality; comfort with communicating ideas and opinions and taking initiative.
- Self-motivated to do high quality work.
- Avid learner.
- Passion for renewable energy
Location: Headquarters in Redwood City, CA (San Francisco Bay Area), or Denver, CO required (Redwood City strongly preferred). Hybrid in office/remote
Base Pay - $90,000 - $120,000
Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, such as skill set, experience, certifications, specific work location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. Base pay may vary per location due to differences in the cost of living.
The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual discretionary bonus, full Health & Wellness Benefits package, generous Long Term Incentive plan designed with our partnership mentality in mind, and other applicable incentive perks as outlined in any formal offer made. The final compensation package will be discussed with the candidate during the final stages of the hiring process.
