Senior AML QA Analyst - Contractor

KPMG is working through its partnership with MBO Partners and is currently seeking contractors in Orlando, FL.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive AML investigation reviews which includes analyzing transaction information, reviewing customer data, researching open source and media checks, and based on this research, making a recommendation for either Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) or no SAR
- Examine cases worked by Analyst team for thorough analysis and accuracy
- Provide feedback to Analysts on case errors or inaccurate analysis
- Ensure case investigation documentation is sufficient and accurate, i.e., case notes are detailed, and decisions/recommendations are well supported
- Review SAR form narratives for completeness and accuracy and making necessary edits as needed
- Ensure daily production of case reviews and quality goals are met
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of recent experience within financial services industry, performing AML Transaction Monitoring reviews, preferably for a retail bank, drafting and/or QA cases and Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs); candidates with EDD/KYC and Fraud experience are not a fit for this role; specifically, candidates to perform quality assurance (QA) reviews on the team of investigators; minimum five years of FinCrime experience required
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
- Advanced understanding of the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, and other applicable laws and regulations
- Prior experience performing AML Investigations and drafting SAR narratives
- Experience overseeing the work of others and providing feedback, such as, in an oversight/Quality Assurance/second level reviewer role
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office; strong analytical experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Preferred location is Orlando, Fl; candidates that are not local may be considered if they meet all qualifications

Pay is determined based on a variety of factors including market data, ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD, technology), and specific location, for example. Additionally, applicants may be required to apply and become employed by a service provider utilized by KPMG, and final pay rate(s) and/or eligibility for additional benefits may be determined by such provider.
$47 - $57 hourly (USD)
