Position Overview
The Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) announces an examination process to create an eligibility list to fill two (2) vacancies for the classification of Senior Administrative Assistant in the Community Health Services and Informatics.. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to four (4) months.
This recruitment will close on or before the closing date listed above once a sufficient number of qualified applicants have been identified.
Under general supervision, to provide administrative and secretarial assistance to the manager of an administrative section or to the supervisor of a complex work group.
The current vacancies are in Informatics and the Healthy Start program.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Training:
- Graduation from high school or equivalent education. Associate degree preferred.
Experience:
- Three (3) years of progressively relevant work experience with a minimum of one year of experience as a District Administrative Assistant II preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with basic competency in Access. Typing speed of 50 net words per minute required.
- Some positions require specialized skills, experience, certification or other requirements which will be identified by the hiring authority at the time of recruitment.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
