Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our retail company. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a vital role in managing our financial operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting activities, conducting financial analysis, preparing financial statements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business decisions. If you are a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Complete bookkeeping for the entire accounting cycle
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis and reporting
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports
• Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement financial strategies and goals
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations
• Handle the accounting posting and journal entry processes
• Perform variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance
• Lead and mentor junior accounting staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum [3] years of experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role in the retail industry
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
• Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and analysis
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Experience in managing and mentoring a team is a plus

Salary: The rate of pay is between $65,000 and $80,000 per year. This is general guideline only and not guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) the responsibilities of the job, your education, skills, qualifications, experience and location.
