Summary
As the Senior Accountant, you will monitor all financial activities ON SITE to ensure the applicable laws, rules, regulations, and controls of the business, and the areas of financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, revenue audit, and inventory control functions.

Your purpose will enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results and ensure that reported results comply with the generally accepted accounting principles and or international reporting requirements. You will serve as the strategist and catalyst for progress within OPTIBELT Corporation.

Your primary responsibilities are:
- Analyzing monthly P/L to budget
- Recommend improvements based on your analysis.
- Analyzing inventory, logistics, and sales margin reports.
Your primary responsibilities are:
- Responsible for the management of financial functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and General Ledger Accounting
- Review monthly close of five different locations with variance analysis.
- Create a budget with management.
- Approve payments!
- Analyze and execute hedging of EUR / USD contracts.
- Ensure all accounting data is tracked appropriately to correct programs, departments, or functions.
- Manage inventory valuation processes and sub-ledger reconciliations. Participate in the review of monthly and annual inventory counts. Work with the inventory team to improve inventory processes.
- Prepare Cash Flow projections.
- Prepare to report on for-profit centers and their development.
- Determine cost metrics for processes (i.e., continuous improvements) and productivity metrics.
- Prepares and reviews supporting and analytical schedules to support monthly financial reporting requirements, including, but not limited to actual to-budget variances, actual to-standard cost variances, analysis of inventory, inventory usage, and inventory turns.

- Advanced / High-level Proficiency in Excel and other ERP Systems
- Strong knowledge of American financial regulatory and statutory requirements including familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the accounting and finance field, including cost accounting.

- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
