What You'll Do
The Senior AP Accountant will join our rapidly growing Finance team and report to the Director of AP. You'll manage all incoming invoices and will be responsible for the full cycle accounts payable process. You'll interact with internal and external business partners to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and processes are running efficiently.
What You'll be Working on
- Oversee AP Team Member(s)
- Validate AP Specialist invoice entries to ensure accurate amount, period, and amount. Ensure invoices have the proper approval from department and obtain supporting documentation. Marketing and other invoices should follow PO approval process
- Review and post expenses and trademark invoices via RAMP/Netsuite
- Responsible for reviewing Corporate Card reconciliation
- Responsible for communicating with vendors on invoice status and follow up
- Responsible for payment entry in bank platform for monthly payment runs
- Monthly cash reconciliation and cash posting
- Monthly intercompany reconciliation
- Monthly Accrual Entry and Analysis
- Assist AP Dept on ad hoc projects
Must Haves:
- Bachelor's degree with a finance/business background
- At least 5+ years of experience in AP role
- ACH and wire entry in BOA
- Bank Reconciliation, Month End Reporting, and Accrual Experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Oracle/NetSuite
- Strong Excel Skills (Pivot Tables, V Lookup, Formulas, Etc.)
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Team Management Experience
- Ability to be a strong business partner with both internal and external parties
- Flexible availability for month end closing
Primary Location Salary Range:
$70,000 - $90,000
