The Senior Accountant provides support and assists with the coordination of the financial accounting and reporting activities for operations across all of the Company's global entities. Senior Accountant will participate in the recording and analysis of daily operational accounting activities to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, corporate policies, SOX, external audits and statutory audits of the Company's global entities. This person will also be responsible for the monthly closing of accounts and preparation of work papers to support the financial statements. The Senior Accountant will work closely with the internal and external accounting teams in analysis and reconciliation of accounts and in development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures and controls. The position reports directly to Sr. Accounting Manager.

Candidates must have strong attention to detail, decision making, problem solving, and time management skills. They must be proactive and deadline-oriented.
Work Model:
Flex: This role will typically require onsite work 2-3 days each week, or more depending on business needs. In many locations, the business will set certain days each week that Flex employees are required to be onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for accounting activities related to the operations of the company's global subsidiaries
- Prepare financial data and global entities' ledgers for purposes of financial reporting and analysis
- Prepare financial reports as needed for statutory, banking and other purposes
- Support inter-company accounting activities on multiple entities
- Transact, analyze and report on foreign currency matters
- Maintain the integrity of the internal control environment (SOX) and provide support when required
- Support external and internal auditors on requests related to the global accounting function at both the corporate and local levels
- Support the Financial Planning & Analysis function on analyses and research related to the global accounting function
- Provide supporting documentation and analyses to support the SEC reporting function
- Develop and enhance critical processes and help implement policy changes as necessary
- Other accounting duties and ad hoc projects as required
Requirements:
- BS or BA in Accounting
- CPA and/or public audit experience a plus
- 3 years' relevant international accounting experience
- Experience in Oracle R12 strongly desired
- Excellent analytical skills, including significant relevant experience with financial reporting for multi-divisional entities
- Must have strong understanding of complex accounting areas related to International operations such as foreign currency matters and accounting for inter-company transactions
- Experience with contract review and analysis of related transactional impacts
- Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical environment a plus #LI-CS1 #LI-Hybrid

This range reflects the characteristics of the job, such as required skills and qualifications and is based on the office location noted in this job posting. The range may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
This position is eligible for annual bonus and equity incentives. Actual individual pay is determined by demonstrated experience and internal equity alignment.
