Senior Accountant

We are looking for a Sr. Accountant to supervise, track and evaluate day-to-day activities. The responsibilities include establishing an optimal P2P (Purchase to Payment) process by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting information.

Responsibilities:

• Review and approve daily BP (Business Partner) creation/change/deletion.
• Maintain COA (Chart of Account).
• Review and manage fixed assets.
• Renew and optimize insurance/ Allocate prepaid expenses.
• Review payroll-related documents.
• Review promotion and marketing expenses.
• Review logistics invoices.
• Review and approve all kinds of invoices
• Report daily bank balances/weekly cash plan/cash forecast
• Improve cash management; optimize cash forecast, automatic payment
• Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies, including month-end closing/tax functions to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
• Provides accounting assistance to project managers and staff; responds to financial questions/concerns to meet business needs.
• Acts as a liaison between the company and external parties to meet information needs and to ensure that proper information is maintained for historical purposes.
• Train and evaluate team members to enhance their performance.
• Ad hoc projects and analysis to support senior and executive management.
• Performs other duties as required.

Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

• At least 5+ years of experience in GL/AP.
• Knowledge and understanding of SAP FI reporting are required.
• Superior spreadsheet skills and a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
• Strong decision-making, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good planning and priority-setting skills.
• May be required to work long hours and weekends.
• Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Approachable, and team-oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

• Accounting professional certificate holder
• Bilingual (Korean/English)

Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Must be authorized to work within the US.
