Senior Accountant

Darling Consulting Group (DCG) is a leading national provider of consulting services and software solutions to banking industry and consistently voted Top Places to Work by the Boston Globe. DCG is expanding its Finance Department and seeking Senior Accountant to work aside the Accounting Manager primarily focused on Accounts Payable, data entry, processing, and recording transactions within Quickbooks®. You will play an essential role in ensuring the precision and integrity of our financial records while supporting various accounting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process and review vendor and expense invoices
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly and accurately
• Reconcile corporate credit card transactions
• Convert/file all vendor and expense invoices electronically
• Record transactions in Quickbooks
• Prepare graphs as needed for presentation purposes
• Assist with financial audits by providing necessary information and documentation
• Ability to automate various tasks

• Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Finance or Accounting
• 5+ year experience in accounting/finance
• Knowledge of Quickbooks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Understanding of Accounting Principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
