Responsibilities:
Key participant in the month end closing process, includes the preparation of journal entries including accruals, reversing and permanent entries.
Record monthly revenues in accordance with revenue recognition principles.
Analyze various balance sheet accounts and preparation of reconciliations.
Maintain and reconcile the Fixed Asset System.
Maintain and oversee all accounting procedures and processes with a focus on improving efficiencies and strengthening internal controls.
Obtain information from and coordinate efforts with various accounting and operating departments.
Research discrepancies in account balances and proposing solutions based on findings.
Perform analysis of variances from budget and prior period results and Ad-hoc projects.
