Key Functions:
Financial statement preparation and variance analysis
Fixed asset tracking and recording depreciation
Assist with annual budget process
Generate and process journal entries
Monthly account reconciliations
Assist with generation of weekly cash forecasts
Work with finance team to collect receivables; apply cash receipts and reconcile cash daily
Collaborate with operations personnel to calculate and generate customer bills
Assist Controller with monthly revenue cutoff and financial reporting
Support the AR and AP processes
Assist with implementing technology to create efficiencies
Support payroll and employee benefits processing
Other ad hoc financial reporting and analysis requests
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting and/or Finance
Substantial experience in accounting and finance (8+ years)
Experience in logistics, infrastructure, and transportation (preferred, not required)
Ability to learn new systems and technology
Self-motivated and adaptive
Must thrive with being managed remotely and communicating via telephone and video conferencing
Majority of time will be spent on site, with some remote work expected
Occasional travel to terminal sites may be required (est. quarterly basis)
