Senior Account Based Marketing Manager
Hahn’s new Senior Account Based Marketing Manager is an influential team member helping the agency identify, reach, and persuade current and prospective clients to consider becoming a Hahn client. This a new lead generation position for the agency with tremendous upside potential to shape, build and grow this critical growth marketing practice.
The best candidate for the role possesses skills and expertise in top-of-funnel lead generation marketing, crossed with the general experience of operating targeted marketing programs for creative agencies or similar professional service firms. The person selected for this position will be responsible for developing campaigns capable of attracting new prospects to the firm’s website assets including its thought leadership work, then facilitating handoff of the prospect to senior practice area managers.
The right fit for this role will know how to maximize the value of the investments already made in top-of-funnel activities, including a number of martech tools, such as SharpSpring or similar CRM.
In addition, the ideal candidate will possess the ability to:
- Fully understand the customer journey of the agency’s target audiences in food, nutrition, and beverage, and energy and electricity
- Identify and turn agency differentiators into compelling content strategies for demand generation
- Identify and track the influencers and decision-makers in our target audiences
- Design a thought leadership editorial calendar and support production of persuasive content that educates our audiences and positions Hahn as an important source of sector-specific knowledge
- Develop and scale persuasive campaigns integrating paid programmatic, LinkedIn, custom landing pages, and the agency’s website with the goals of increasing traffic, visit duration, and domain authority
- Analyze digital performance metrics, share regular updates with the agency management team using easy-to-understand dashboards and visualizations, and making recommendations for continuous campaign performance improvements and hands-on making prescriptive changes to website content on a regular basis
Qualifications
A qualified candidate for this role will possess the following:
- Current mastery of SharpSpring or similar CRM, solid working knowledge of other martech tools as well as LinkedIn and other social media platforms. Familiarity with programmatic ad buying, WordPress, Airtable, Ahrefs, Clearscope, Hotjar, Descript, Google Analytics, Canva, Zapier is a plus.

- Previous marketing of an agency or professional services firm
- Experience in running ABM campaigns, programs and reporting
- Experience with SEO
- Experience with community management and social media management
- Experience with editing audio and/or video for production
- Examples of self-driven projects or professional experiences like entrepreneurship, freelancing/consulting, or publications (Ex: social, blogging, or YouTube)
Duties
The nature of this role is to work on a variety of projects and campaigns across the food and beverage, and energy and electricity sectors. The type of work expected is as follows:
Marketing Automation and Optimization
- Audit internal marketing processes/flows and improve quality and performance
- Optimize our existing content for discoverability and shareability
- Track ideas, tests, and performance over time and share with the team
- Continuously seek out opportunities to automate administrative/repetitive tasks
Content Production & Promotion
- Develop and execute content marketing campaigns based on agreed-upon strategies
- Develop supporting content in multimedia formats to support campaigns.
- Contribute to production and promotion process for insight articles, social media profiles, podcast, and YouTube channel and recommend, then produce, content for new channels and opportunities
- Continuously optimize paid programmatic investments. Change content placements as performance data dictates
- Research and outline new material to fill content gaps
- Repurpose existing content into new formats
- Package and productize content when appropriate
- Assist with production and promotion of existing products (Ex: books, courses, etc.)
- Form mutually beneficial relationships with complimentary publishers and partners
- Assist with edits and revisions
Audience Building & Community Management
- With an agreed-upon plan, engage with our existing audience through email and social communities
- Be an active and valuable contributor in social communities where members of our prospective clients might be found
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and executing community events
Strategy & Administration
- Attend and contribute to quarterly strategic planning sessions
- Build out documentation for established processes, maintain documentation for established processes
- Create tracking and reporting tools for marketing efforts
- Research prospective clients to build avatars and new products
Accountability Metrics
