SalaryLa Colombe has immediate openings for dependable CDL Class A Shuttle Drivers to drive our semi on a planned route to ensure deliveries are made on time. This is a great opportunity to build a successful, long-term career!
This is a relief position, with 12hr working shifts from 5pm-515am. Candidates must be available for schedules that adjust weekly to support production demands, working days may include weekends.
You’ll be responsible for:
Fully understanding how to operate and safely drive your assigned delivery vehicle
Driving vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) under 80,000 lbs
Transporting pallet goods and packages from a place of origin to an assigned destination
Picking up loads and organizing goods in an ordered, logical manner
Ensuring contents are properly secured inside of the truck to prevent breakage or damage
Safely and efficiently handling and unloading goods from a truck at selected destinations
Must be willing to work 12-hour Shifts with rotating weekends (5pm-515am)
Have a valid driver’s license and commercial driver’s license (CDL-A)
May require a tanker endorsement and/or HAZMAT endorsement
Have experience driving a large company van or truck (preferred)
Have a clean driving record with no moving violations
Are a skilled and confident driver
Have the Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time
Experience using hand trucks and electric lifts
Excellent customer service and communication skills
