The Director, New Product Development, Milvexian will be responsible for leading the cross-functional US Launch Readiness Team (LRT) for the Cardiovascular pipeline asset Milvexian a Factor XI in P3 development in partnership with BMS for Atrial Fibrillation (AF), Secondary Stroke Prevention (SSP), and Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS).

This individual will lead the development of a US Launch Readiness plan prior to the formation of an in-line marketing team, including the development of preliminary US positioning, differentiation, value proposition and pricing strategy.  Additionally, this individual will lead the development of the co-promotion GTM recommendation for the commercial organization.

This individual will represent the US on appropriate Global Commercial Teams (GCTs) and alliance partnership governance teams to provide input to the Global Commercial Strategy Organization (GCSO) and alliance partnership on development of global vision, positioning, trademark and branding, and key pre-launch initiatives.

The individual should have a strong healthcare marketing background and experience leading marketing teams.  In addition, the individual must have demonstrated the ability to successfully collaborate and achieve alignment in cross-functional teams and senior management.   This individual must have a demonstrated track record of leadership in communicating recommendations, garnering support, driving to decision, and execution. This individual should possess learning agility and intellectual curiosity as well as strong project management skills.

Compensation expectation for this role: $142,000-$203,300.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS Required; MBA Preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant pharmaceutical/med tech business experience is required (In-Line Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Sales, New Business Development.); must have significant business/market experience and industry knowledge to influence cross-functional decisions and strategies
  • Demonstrated experience in critical marketing competencies is required
  • Product launch experience is preferred
  • Sales experience in healthcare industry is strongly preferred
  • Market access experience is preferred
  • Experience working in co-promotion relationship is preferred
  • People management experience is required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience partnering with R&D, medical affairs, global marketing, market access, patient advocacy & supply chain preferred
  • Up to 15% travel may be required
