Semiconductor Manufacturing Technician

Phoseon Technology is a global leader in providing innovative solutions for UV LED curing applications. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Semiconductor Manufacturing Technician to join our team at our Hillsboro, Oregon facility.
As a Semiconductor Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of semiconductor components and devices used in our UV LED curing systems. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products, which are used in a wide range of industries including printing, packaging, and medical devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assembly and testing of semiconductor components and devices according to established procedures and specifications.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues that may arise during the manufacturing process.
- Utilize various tools and equipment, such as microscopes, oscilloscopes, and electrical testers, to ensure the quality and functionality of products.
- Maintain accurate records of test results and communicate any deviations or abnormalities to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to identify and implement process improvements.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Continuously learn and stay updated on the latest manufacturing techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Semiconductor Manufacturing or testing environment.
- Strong understanding of Semiconductor Manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Proficiency in interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Hands-on experience with tools and equipment used in Semiconductor Manufacturing, such as wire bonders, die bonders, and pick-and-place machines.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
