The Customer Service Representative position is a key interface role within the plant structure and responsible for maintaining relationships with Customers, Engineering, Quality, Production and Sales. Primarily focused on documenting and communicating order processing details, date sensitive needs and issues. Serve as the voice between the customer and Pentagon Technologies with the main objective of providing excellent customer satisfaction.
Position Responsibilities:
- Handling all communications between the customer and Pentagon Technologies. This includes emails, phone and teleconference calls. Must be willing to attend customer on site meetings.
- The scope includes requesting work to be performed, expediting requests, acting as an intermediary between customer and engineering on processing issues, and handling all account updates such as expedite fees.
- Understand and follow operating procedures as assigned to the department to assure consistent, reliable and timely responses to customer inquiries and/or issues.

- Email traffic can be high and must be able to organize and prioritize.
- Solid computer skills including email etiquette, experience with word and excel spreadsheet functionality.
- Ability to read and interpret customer and internal documents such as purchase orders, shipping manifests, packing slips, and written procedures.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers.
- Ability to learn and understand plant operation and structures to assure that customer related issues are directed to the correct department and resource.
Minimum Hiring Standards:
- Minimum 3-year Customer Service related experience in a business office setting or completed business college courses; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Has experience in procurement, supply chain or logistics and distribution centers
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Must have the ability to speak, read and write in English; additional languages a plus.
- Preferred work experience in the Semiconductor Industry.
