Gulf Transport is looking for a Tank Trailer Mechanic to join our growing team and to be part of something BIG! Responsibilities:
- Maintain and perform required Semi Tank Trailer repairs
- Develop and execute preventative maintenance schedule for fleet of 6-10 (and growing) Acid, sulfur, granular, and any additional future equipment as we continue to grow
- Inspect tractor trailer for mechanical and safety issues
- Wash Tractors and Trailers bi-weekly or on an as-needed basis if sooner
- Adjust trailer valves
- Clean/adjust valves and vents
- Maintian yard, equipment parts storage, and office areas
- Refill breathing air cylinders and scba packs as needed.
- Dispatch printing and distribution to drivers as needed.
Pay:
- $25/hour+ (experience based)

Requirements:
- Reliable – Regular, Predictable Attendance is an Essential Function of The Job
- Focus on our SAFETY-FIRST Policy
- Ability to Lift 50 pounds On a Daily Basis and Climb On Elevated Surfaces As Needed
- Must be clean shaven and pass air/respirator training
- CDL Class A or B preferred
- Valid and Active TWIC Credential
- Must have reliable transportation to commute to and from work.
