36 HOURS PER WEEK
We are looking for a reliable, motivated assistant self-storage manager at our South Seattle location. This person must have a minimum of three (3) years of successful management experience. Self-storage experience equals a higher starting wage.
What we offer:
· Competitive starting annual wage of $45,000 (36 hr/wk)

What we need:
· Proven successful management experience
· Superior customer service/sales skills and ability, with competent office skills and good phone demeanor
· Positive attitude and professional appearance and manner
· Computer literate
· Detail oriented
· Ability to read, write and speak fluent English
· Ability to successfully pass a background check
· Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
What you can expect:
· Routine Tasks: Utilizing computer software to rent units, take payments and vacate tenants; accurately completing rental agreements and administrative paperwork; performing facility tours for potential tenants; sales of inventory items; enforcing rules and regulations; daily bank deposits and occasional errands (mileage paid); appropriate notices and phone calls to delinquent tenants; paperwork management and filing.
· Jointly with the manager, monitoring and maintaining the facility – walking the property daily to check for cleanliness and upkeep, sweeping hallways, cleaning units, ensuring supplies are appropriately stocked, and performing other light maintenance tasks.
· You may be required to walk extended distances while showing units to potential renters, work both indoors and outdoors in varying temperature and weather, navigate multiple surfaces, including uneven, icy or snowy, and stand for extended periods of time. You will need the ability to lift and carry 40 pounds upon occasion, and the ability to operate roll-up doors.
