Segment Marketing Director

Divert is looking for a hands-on, results-driven marketer with a growth mindset to join our marketing team. Reporting to the CMO, you'll be responsible for the strategy, tactics, execution, and performance measurements to optimize our Segment Demand Gen strategy to achieve GTM goals. As a senior member of our team, you’ll help embrace and drive change, ensuring our marketing efforts are efficient and continuously optimized to deliver the best results for the business. This position is accountable for delivering on pipeline targets in partnership with our sales team across all market segments (Retail, Foodservice, and Industrials). The Segment Marketing Director is responsible for:

  • Establishing and executing campaign strategies to accelerate business across all segments. Operationalize a campaign construct that scales. Localize and integrate corporate marketing campaigns for regional demand generation deployment.

  • Understanding our Ideal Customer Profile and personas to develop messaging, programs and sequences in partnership with brand marketing, creative services, and PR to activate a variety of channels including digital marketing, email marketing, social media, partners and events to drive MQLs.

  • Tracking, analyzing and leveraging emerging marketing tactics and driving innovative end-to-end lifecycle programs that deliver leads, unlock the middle of the funnel and accelerate pipeline. Continually driving conversion rate optimization and lowering our cost per acquisition. Ensuring that marketing performance and impact inform the go-forward strategy. Utilizing a ‘test and learn’ approach to optimization.

  • Driving effective communication to multiple stakeholders, including executives, sales, and brand marketing. Participate in monthly pipeline and business reviews.

  • Building a small team of Demand Generation segment marketers and becoming a trusted partner to the segment General Managers by understanding and supporting the needs of each segment through careful and calculated planning of marketing tactics and programs that accelerate deal velocity.

You Have:

  • 12+ years marketing experience

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent related working experience is required

  • Proven experience in marketing within a B2B company

  • Expertise growing and leading demand generation campaigns

  • Demonstrated success owning the strategy, framework, development and execution for regional, multichannel demand generation campaigns, targeting a range of customers from enterprise size companies to small, regional players

  • Big picture thinking, and meticulous attention to details – ability to quickly understand overall business objectives, create a well-aligned marketing strategy and execution plans with clearly defined metrics and KPIs

  • Strong analytical skills, and proven track record in making data-driven decisions to continually optimize performance and determine future investments

  • Experience with Salesforce, Hubspot and ZoomInfo preferred

  • Experience in Food Service, Food Manufacturing, and/or Retail Grocery preferred
