Registered Nurse specialized in Pre-Operative/PACU/OR
Salary Range $30.00 to $33.00 per hour
Requirements to apply:
· Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
· Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing.
· Current Kentucky RN License, Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.
· Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
· Must have at a minimum previous nursing experience in at least one of the following settings: ambulatory surgical center (ASC), PACU, ICU, Medical Surgical or Telemetry floors.
We have an immediate need for a direct hire, part-time or PRN Registered Nurse specialized in Pre-Operative/PACU/OR at one of our growing centers!
Job Overview
Evaluates, plans, executes, and documents patient nursing care adhering to established Federal, State, and accreditation standards as well as ASC policies. Takes responsibility for the quality of nursing services provided by oneself or team members under their supervision. Engages in direct patient care and upholds a tidy, organized, and secure environment.
Successful performance in this role requires competency in critical thinking, with the ability to make sound nursing judgments and prioritize patient care effectively. Demonstrates positive interpersonal skills, maintaining effective communication and teamwork. Adheres to ethical and legal standards, manages time efficiently, and actively participates in professional development. Consistent punctuality and attendance are expected. Schedule usually starts at 6:30 am with variable end times. No work on weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities.
