Job Title: Online ESL Teacher

Professor Joey Greco LLC is an online-only ESL/EFL program for adults and young adults. Our school began during the pandemic and has grown significantly. We have taught students from over 25 countries and counting. We use our in-house method (SCOTI), that is Student Centered, Communicative, Online, Task Based, and Intercultural.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced online ESL teacher to join our team. As an online ESL teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English language instruction to students from around the world in a virtual classroom setting. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and have a proven track record of success in the ESL industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective online ESL instruction to adult and young adult students of all proficiency levels.
• Use a variety of teaching techniques and strategies to facilitate student learning and progress.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their progress and performance.
• Monitor and track student progress and communicate with students as needed.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement effective teaching methods and strategies.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Applied Linguistics.
• ESL teaching certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of online teaching experience in ESL.
• Proficient in English with excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms (Zoom)
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of ESL teaching methods and techniques.
• Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passionate about teaching and committed to student success.
• Expert in Zoom, Google Drive, and Whatsapp platforms.

Pay rate: $17-$20/hour

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
