Position: Construction Recruiter (Entry Level)
Job Summary: As a Construction Trades Recruiter, you will play a vital role in identifying, engaging, and attracting top-tier skilled trades professionals across the country. Your mission is to build strong networks, foster relationships, and match skilled candidates with suitable positions in various industries. You will collaborate with candidates and the internal team.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively source, screen, and assess skilled trades candidates through various channels, such as online job boards, social media, referrals, and networking events.
- Develop and maintain a broad talent pipeline of skilled trades professionals in diverse industries, including construction, manufacturing, automotive, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and more.
- Conduct in-depth interviews to evaluate candidates' technical skills, work experience, and cultural fit for specific job openings.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers and HR teams to understand their talent requirements, job descriptions, and company culture.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools to track candidate progress and maintain accurate records.
- Implement creative sourcing strategies and stay up-to-date with industry trends to attract passive candidates effectively.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including coordinating interviews, providing feedback to candidates, and handling salary negotiations.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing outstanding customer service.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a skilled trades recruiter or in a similar recruitment role, with a track record of successfully placing candidates in skilled trades positions.
- In-depth knowledge of various skilled trades professions and their respective skill sets.
- Strong networking skills with the ability to engage and build relationships with candidates and clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software is a plus.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and client demands.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Location: This is a remote position, allowing you to work from any location within the United States.
Pay Rate: pay is to be determined based upon experience
