SECURITY SUPERVISOR
Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Security Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the Security department, including the supervision of Security personnel. The Security Supervisor directs department staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Supervise daily workflow, schedules, activities, and assignments of security staff.
Participate in evaluating staff performance; work with employees to correct deficiencies; implement discipline procedures.
Prepare and conduct training for new hires and current staff on a variety of security topics.
Assist in interviewing, hiring, and training security staff.
Develop and implement safety and security protocols for compliance.
Perform regular walk-throughs and security inspections of sites and facilities.
Assist administration in developing security solutions for security deficiencies.
Serve as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct training and presentations for staff.
Supervise, plan, and coordinate traffic and crowd control measures for assignments and special events.
Conduct investigations related to employee misconduct .
Analyze, interpret, and enforce department policies and procedures, local and State laws. Attend and conduct a variety of meetings as assigned.
Act in the absence of the Operations Manager.

Operate two-way radio equipment and enunciate clearly when broadcasting.

Send and receive emails and research information through the Internet.
Operate equipment using a variety of standardized methods.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Possession of a High School diploma or GED, and five (5) years of related security experience is required. Possession of a bachelor’s degree in a related field of study is desired.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Valid Colorado driver’s license

ENVIRONMENT:
Indoor and outdoor environment. Driving a vehicle to conduct work.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Moderate lifting (40 pounds
Sitting and standing for extended periods of time.
Walking to conduct inspections.
