Essential Function:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Supervisor to oversee our security operations at both of our locations in Ohio. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the security program, ensuring the safety and security of our facilities, and providing excellent customer service.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of our people, facilities, and assets
- Conduct regular inspections of our facilities to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities
- Work closely with law enforcement agencies and emergency services to respond to incidents and emergencies as needed
- Monitor security cameras and alarms, and respond to alarms and incidents in a timely and effective manner
- Provide excellent customer service to our internal and external personnel, responding to their requests and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Prepare and maintain reports on security incidents and activities, and provide regular updates to management
- Manage security-related equipment and supplies, ensuring that they are maintained and in good working condition

- Assist in applying lean manufacturing concepts and 5S. Demonstrate ownership of continuous improvement ideas and activities. Maintain organization and cleanliness, housekeeping and 5S within work area. Maintain these areas at the highest degree possible while responsibly escalating any maintenance issues.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, security management, or a related field is preferred
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field; with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Knowledge of security procedures, protocols, and technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of people
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make quick and effective decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
