Description:
This position will serve as an on-site LM Security Representative for the Air Force Special Operations Command Air Commando Training Support (AFSOC ACTS) program at Hurlburt Field, FL. The position will assist with the implementation of government security requirements on the contract at Hurlburt Field. Duties include, but not limited to:- Utilize DISS and LMSecurity tools to complete and manage Visit Authorization Letters
- Complete tasks associated with the management of the classified material inventory to include conducting routine inventory, shipping/receiving, destruction and marking of material
- Support and participate in an internal security self-inspection program and government security inspections
- Conduct routine checks of the safes and classified facilities to ensure proper security protocol is being followed
- Assist with providing Security training to LM employees and subcontractors and tracking records accordingly
- With support from LM TLS Security Investigator, investigate security incidents and violations, assist with preparing reports of investigations for management and customers, and makes specific recommendations for corrective and preventative actions.
- Enforce all USAF and local security procedures and practices
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be a proactive self-starter with good organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to work well independently, but function within a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and quickly adjust to changing priorities
Desired Skills:
- Previous experience managing Personnel Security duties
- Previous experience managing classified inventory to include shipping/receiving and destruction
- Knowledge of Security directives and mandates that govern classified contracts
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint)
- Effective organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization skills
