You Are:
UST is looking for a highly energetic, flexible, and collaborative Security team lead with ample experience and knowledge in the areas of Application Security, Agile development/Support with solid technical background in Microservices and REST APIs to lead a team responsible to help end users effectively fix their application security issues related SAST/DAST/SCA scans.
The Opportunity :
- Lead a team of security professionals, fostering a culture of security awareness and ensuring strict adherence to industry protocols.
- Direct end-to-end vulnerability management, from application scanning to efficient tracking and remediation of security vulnerabilities created out of various scans like SAST/DAST/SCA/Secrets detection within SLAs defined.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of Microservices and APIs.
- Collaborate seamlessly with development and domain teams, integrating security into the development process to shift security left and fostering knowledge sharing.
- Communicate technical security findings to non-technical stakeholders and executives, delivering actionable insights.
- Set up and facilitate team events, including Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Planning/Review/Retrospective.
- Ensure team productivity, velocity, and time management/integrity.
- Provide weekly status updates to leadership teams as well as prepare presentations to various stakeholders.
- Enable leadership to derive and communicate the business value from updates. Coordinate requirements, schedules implementation, and post-implementation activities.
This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.
What you need:
- Good knowledge in Sec DevOps methodologies
- Proven track record in helping people to fix OWASP top 10 issues.
- Good hands-on experience in any technologies like Java/.Net/node js
- Working knowledge in AWS/GCP/Mongo DB will be an added advantage. Knowledge of Scrum frameworks and other Agile frameworks: Kanban, XP.
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: Remote
Compensation Range: $84,000-$126,000
Our full-time, regular associates are eligible for 401K matching, and vacation accrual and are covered from day 1 for paid sick time, healthcare, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance benefits. Depending on the role, some associates may also be eligible for stock options.
