Job Description
As a Security Patrol Driver, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.
The Training / Patrol Officer will assist the Security Account Manager in the development of training materials, and the execution of hands-on training of security staff. The Security Training Patrol Officer, will coordinate training schedules for new employees and any additional trainings as directed by the Account Manager to ensure the highest level of proficiency by all staff in performance of their duties. The Security Training / Patrol Officer will also be required to perform Patrol Officer and other administrative duties when needed.
*** Minimum 1 year of verifiable previous supervisory experience - REQUIRED! *** Must be available to work any shift needed
Experienced Full Time - PBF Toledo Refinery - Oregon, OH - $20.00 / Hour to Start!

Qualifications/Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have 1 year of verifiable supervisory experience
• Must be able to work varied shifts and overtime as needed
• Must possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner; must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines
• Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting;
• Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Driving Positions: must possess a valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required.
• As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test, may be required to pass Drivers Record check
• Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
• Ability to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
• Able to:
• Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 50 pounds
• Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
• Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
