Qualifications

• 25 Years of Age or Older

• Excellent Driving Record

• Ability to work in the US

• Intermediate computer and technology skills to operate innovative, wireless technology and various software platforms

• Professional attitude and appearance

• Punctual and reliable

• Must consistently demonstrate emotional control, and good judgment in all situations, both escalated and complex in nature

• Work in various environments including elements (heat, rain, snow)

• Able and willing to stand, walk, and run as needed

• Occasionally bend/twist to perform various duties

• Have or the ability to obtain a Denver Security Guard License

Responsibilities

• Anticipated Schedule: Overnight 6 pm – 6 am

• Patrol job sites to help deter theft, vandalism, or other criminal activities, and send reports to our clients

• Uses superior customer service to address client and patron issues daily

• Identify, document, and report any unusual activity, violations, accidents, physical property damage, theft, or disturbances on site

• Obey all applicable traffic laws and exhibit safe driving procedures while operating any company issued/personal motor vehicle while on duty

• Adhere to vehicle/foot patrol schedule and stops including scanning required QR Codes

• Evaluate complaint and emergency-request information to determine response requirements

• Effectively use proper radio protocols to communicate with leads, management, and other site officials and staff

• Communicate effectively with law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency medical personnel as needed

• Complete job tasks with limited oversight

• Willing to take direction from leadership with a friendly, and customer service-oriented attitude and achieve job duties set forth at the site by Advanced Professional Security (APS) Management

• Must be familiar with and adhere to Use of Force statutes and regulations

• Perform daily inspections of vehicles before and after trips

• Follow all APS Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• Additional duties may be assigned and functions may be modified on business needs

Experience & Requirements:

• 6 months to 1 year as an unarmed/armed security guard (preferred)

• 21 years of age or older

• As a condition of employment, the employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen, including marijuana in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

• Reliable transportation

• Possess a Denver Security Guard License or have the ability to obtain one

Skills:

• Read, write, and speak the English language

• Possess basic computer skills;

• Meet applicable license requirements;

• Observe, walk, stand, sit, or drive for extended periods of time in various weather conditions; run, climb stairs, and carry fire extinguishers or other emergency equipment as required

• Frequent use of hands, reach with hands and arms

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus in all types of light

• Self-motivation and ability to work independent of immediate supervision
