Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $16.00 /hour starting pay for Unarmed $17.00/hour starting pay for Armed

Millennium Security, LLC has immediate openings for unarmed and armed Security Officers in Charlottesville Virginia. Department of Criminal Justice Services training and certification is available. Employees use their firearms for armed positions. All candidates MUST pass a thorough background check and basic Security Officer training before hiring.

The Security Officer is the first line of defense to deter, detect, and mitigate the criminal activity. Security officers perform a variety of duties actively patrolling customer properties to include college campuses, hospitals, business establishments, parking areas, construction sites, private schools, and more.

Security officers will monitor activity in and around buildings and grounds and respond appropriately to routine duties and emergencies. The security professional performs camera surveillance maintains agency logs and records, uses computer skills for documentation of daily activities conducts security investigations, evaluates situations, and takes appropriate steps for professional and timely resolution.

All Security Officers MUST be customer-service oriented.
