Security Officer - Floater

Job Description
GardaWorld Security Services is immediately hiring a Floater Security Officer to provide superior security and customer service in Liberty, NC and Greensboro, NC. In this role, the Floater Security Officer must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule with varying shifts to accommodate call-offs, open posts, or special coverage needs. Duties and schedule vary on the officers availability but must be available for weekend vacancies.

Compensation:

• $17.50/ hour
• Bi-weekly pay periods

JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Responsibilities specific to this role include, but are not limited to:

• Ability to cover at least two shifts with an 80/20 shift acceptance rate.
• Must be able to cover weekends
• Variety of shifts due to call-offs or openings or scheduled time off.
• Trainable for Security Officer policies and protocols for multiple clientele
• 24 hours minimum - must guarantee availability for at least two shifts. Hours increase based on flexibility.
• Location varies depending on site coverage needs.

General Security responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent customer service to our clients
• Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site
• Respond quickly to critical situations
• Ability to read and write detailed reports
• Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards

QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications specific to this client site include, but are not limited to:

• Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Walk/Stand for long periods of time
• At least 18 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements

General Qualifications to work in physical security at GardaWorld include:

• Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)
• Pass an extensive screening process
