Driftwood Golf and Ranch Security Officers are a part of a highly professional team of safety and security providers and are encouraged to contribute their knowledge and skill sets for the benefit of the community and department. Driftwood Security Officers are responsible for the safety and well-being of all members, guest, and employee that are at DRG. A detect, deter, observe, and report posture will be utilized by all Driftwood Security Officers. However, if the situation requires intervention at any level, Driftwood Security Officers are to be prepared to act accordingly within the guidelines set forth by the Driftwood Security Department policy. Driftwood Security Officers must take a “concierge security” approach while working with our distinguished membership.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a safe residential and working environment for all members, guests and employees by identifying, treating, and reducing workplace risks.
- Providing a seemly entry for all authorized individuals into property.
- Preventing unauthorized access to the property and use of its facilities.
- Providing a medical response capability to members, guests and employees while on club property, or engaged in any club-facilitated activity at any other geographic location in and around the property.
- Providing a fire response capability to all structures inside the community.
- Providing emergency management advice in the event of a natural disaster event
- Adhere to all company service and operating standards.
- Remain in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
- Enforce the club’s health and safety policies to all members, guests, and employees.
- Maintaining the personal “concierge” security approach for all members, guests, and employees while on property.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in Armed Security, Law Enforcement, or Military.
- High school diploma, GED, or higher education.
- Prior experience and training with relevant firearms and defensive tactics.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Clear Criminal Background Compliant with Texas OCC Code 1702 Subchapter-G
- Have the ability to work calmly and efficiently in high duress situation
